This is a COMPETITION ball of the highest quality. The outer cover has an INCORPORATED Complex foam layer based on abrasion resistant polyurethane.
The outer cover is a combination of special synthetic polystyrenes (polyurethane) and natural rubber. Cleverly embedded within the layers are equal sizes, highly elastic, exceptionally resistant gas-filled MICRO-CELLS which are backed by closely WOVEN knitted fabric. There is a high modulus of compression of this foamy layer which gives it a really good elastic memory. This in turn imparts improved rebound characteristics which converts the foot strike into ball acceleration. These gas filled bubbles allow the ability to kick the ball without too much resistance. The outer layer can withstand exceptionally tough treatment and has exceptional durability. The applied energy is converted equally on the ball which gives it a lot of “forgiveness”. In other words, at experts foot, it has a more calculable and more predictable flight path. The ability to swerve the ball (by imparting spin) is not effected at all. This strong fabric mesh limits deformation, when the ball is kicked and help the ball remains spherical in flight. It has an exceptionally low water uptake and has a very little volume expansion after being played strenuously in wet condition. Fitted with natural latex bladder for full expansion and supple and resilient playing characteristics of ball. The Ohio is COMPETITION BALL of high quality. The outer layer is of flexible, durable, wrinkle resistant POLYURETHANE on a strongly compressed NON-WOVEN fabric base.
The synthetic leather is very strong but at the same time very soft and flexible. Sandwiched between the backing fabric layers and synthetic leather is a European made very soft, durable, elastic and light weighted CLOSED CELL EPDM air mattress. This air-cushion has a quick recovery time, water repellent and has a good “recoil memory”. It imparts a really good soft touch to the ball which is especially useful in head kicking of the ball. The whole outer complex is supported by the mesh of closely woven, strong mesh work of polyester fabric. This strong meshwork not only supports the whole complex but also limits the deformation of the ball during kicking. This phenomenon is especially helpful in keeping the flight of the ball stable and predictable. It is fitted with latex bladder with air retention well within FIFA Limits.
